#024 AnimeUSA 2024 + v4 update
I haven't been able to work on anything for NOLNIR v4 because I've been prepping for AnimeUSA 2024! Again, I've been given the opportunity to provide artwork for them as one of their official artists, apparently for merch (exciting!)! I'm going to be tabling this year, selling prints and stickers as well as digital commissions, sfw and nsfw. I'll have a comprehensive webpage set up with all those details. It'll be posted here at a later date.
Anyways, I'd like to take this time to give yall an update on v4 here, too. I have much more in-depth updates on v4 over on ko-fi for my members among other things I've been slowly hacking away at.
So far, I've completed the cosmetic updates on the main website, both the personal and support blogs (Junk. and Box) and I've started on revamping the subsites and Milkyway Shoppe. The only things missing are predominantly back-end params. One specific thing that I'm trying to get set up is a little newsletter system which encompasses all website updates on a bi-weekly basis. #023 NOLNIR v4 update and Others
Just a minor update on how v4 is going: it's going! Those supporting me on Ko-fi monthly get frequent and in-depth updates and rambles about the development. Of course, nothing here is final, it's just a mock-up of various containers and pages for now.
I'd forgotten I haven't updated the website in a bit (a bit being several months now LMAO) but I'm thinking to have everything up to speed when v4 gets implemented. It's a site-wide update, meaning that all parts of the website, and not just the main site get updated. It's an ambitious update, yeah, but it's mostly cosmetic and not really back-end (I've done all that already).
Anyway, I also made a pretty sudden decision to stop streaming all together, along with no longer taking commission work and no longer hosting my discord server, NOLNIR Nonsense. It's a permanent decision as I realized those things aren't part of my personal goals, lol. It kinda felt like I was messing around and stressing myself out with the guise of "having fun." (??) I don't know if that makes sense but I'm sure yall are smart and can make sense of it.
I've gotta sell my soul to school and work, unfortunately, so thank you to those who made streaming and hosting the discord server fun! (❁´◡`❁)
#022 Activities Update + NOLNIR v4 underway
Long time, no update! It's been a very hectic year and we're only 4 months in. I've been active elsewhere and haven't had the time to put down a decent update on my website for a bit. It was intentional, as I wanted to develop a new design for NOLNIR for its 9th birthday back in December... but plans fell through, leaving me only to really update my streaming assets, brand assets and a few other things. I'm in the middle of developing v4 right now, and it's going to be site-wide, including the minisites for my works. It's going to be a bit until then, so updates to the gallery and logs may be sparse.
To keep it short, here's a summary: I've been posting over on ko-fi more and even started a membership club to post dev logs and progress reports on long term projects, work in progress shots of some illustrations, and early/exclusive access for videos and other miscellaneous content. My Newgrounds page is now for completed works and collaborative works only. I've been posting videos and shorts to YouTube more frequently. I've only just started streaming over on Twitch again. I've decided on monthly schedules + commission streams every Friday.
I've been super busy trying to get back into the swing of things. It's been very rough these past few months, I might start stealing people's life force if it means I'll have more energy to get through the struggles of life. (⊙_⊙;)
#021 Happy New Year! NOLNIR @ Gumroad + Brush packs for sale
Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a good 2024! On that note....
I now have a shop hosted on Gumroad. This will serve as yet another backup shop for Milkyway Shoppe. The only difference between this backup shop and the ko-fi backup shop is the inclusion of NSFW-related digital goods.
I also have brush packs for sale on both shops at the moment. I plan on adding more goods very soon! Please look forward to it!
